Scouting Report

Durable 5'11" 185 lbs. frame.  Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, LA has been a factory for pitchers over the last few years and Loup may be an unfamiliar name to most right now, but that will likely change soon, as he has the opportunity to be relied upon heavily by the Bears this coming spring.  In our first look at Loup, back in February against Sam Houston, he worked his FB in the 86-88 mph range, showcasing a quick and fast arm.  On top of the mid-upper 80's heater, he also flashed a sharp and tight top to bottom breaking ball, that has the chance to be a true weapon.  We're certainly looking forward to seeing the uncommitted senior at our State Games event, later this month, on 09/30-10/01, at Alex Box Stadium.
