Underclass Invitational Showcase: Roster and Check-In Times

The Underclass Invitational has been one of the best events the last several years, bringing the top ranked and undiscovered underclassmen into one event. In past years such highly ranked prospects as C Mitch Trees (Sacred Heart Griffin, 2014, Louisville), C Michael Papierski (Lemont, 2014, LSU), OF Darius Day (Simeon, 2014, Arizona), C Simeon Lucas (Grant, 2014, Illinois State) RHP Jeremy Orbik (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2015, Kentucky) and RHP Steven Skolarz (Lincoln-Way West, 2015, Indiana).

This year’s event is poised to be no different; in fact on paper it looks to be one of the best Underclass Invitational rosters yet.

Out of the Class of 2016 prospects in attendance, 7 of the top 10 ranked players, 13 of the top 20 ranked players and 51 of the 100 total ranked players in Illinois will be in attendance. That’s an impressive list to say the least. With that much young talent in one place this event is sure to be one of the more highly followed events of the year.

The check-in times for this event are as follows:

Position Players check-in from 8:00 - 8:20 AM

Pitchers check-in from 11:30 - 11:50 AM
