Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Alec Hassfurther, Forest Park HS

Today's Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Forest Park HS catcher Alec Hassfurther. Hassfurther was a participant in the Top Prospect Games last June at Indiana University.
The No. 124 ranked player in Indiana's 2014 class possesses a strong frame at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds. His pop times range from 2.05-2.15. He works with a short arm action and displays solid footwork. His exchange is a little slow, but if he quickens it up will see a decrease in his pop times. Hassfurther shows above average arm strength from the crouch at 75 mph.
Offensively, he possesses power potential, evidenced by his 93 mph exit velocity. He starts with a wide base and a quiet load. His hand speed is average and shows plus strength.
