Blake Hart is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound, left-handed hitting catcher with a strong frame who has improved his measurables at each event he has attended.  Most recently, at the Unsigned Senior Games in August, Hart’s pop times ranged from 1.97-2.05 with 73 mph arm strength from the crouch.  At his last two events, most of Hart’s throws have been right around the 2.00 mark on the bag.  He has a quick glove to hand exchange, his feet work well, and he displays very good blocking skills.

At the plate, the left-handed hitter uses his strong lower half to create barrel whip through the zone.  His slight uphill path creates some lift and backspin, and Hart has shown the potential to be a left-handed power bat.  At the Unsigned Senior Games, he registered an 88 mph exit velocity off the tee.
