2/12/17 - Max FB: 84, FB: 81-83, CB: 70-73, CH: 70-73
6-foot-1, 180-pound RHP with athletic frame, arm works cleanly through a high 3/4 slot with normal effort, impressed with advanced pitchability locating all pitches at the bottom of the strike zone, fastball shows occasional arm-side run and showed an uptick in velocity from last fall, curveball maintained similar velocity as in the past with 11/5 and 12/6 shape, changeup is his most improved pitch as it showed a bigger velocity difference off the fastball that will make it more effective. Kleitz has likely not reached his velocity ceiling, making him a very interesting prospect with his current pitchability.
