Alabama Class of 2021 Rankings:

The 2020 class in Alabama is definitely loaded with top flight talent but the 2021 class is every bit as talented and deep with players, and possibly even stronger. At the top of the list is RHP Grant Taylor of Florence HS. The LSU commitment continues to put up impressive numbers year after year. LHP William "Pico" Kohn of Chilton County HS comes in at #2 after putting up eye popping numbers during his sophomore season. The Mississippi State commit was an All PBR 1st Team Selection. Another LSU commit, RHP Samuel Dutton of Westbrook Christian comes in at #3 in the '21 rankings. The future Tiger uses an upper 80's fastball and plus breaking ball to dominate hitters. Continuing the trend of top flight pitchers is RHP Grant Cherry of Vestavia Hills HS. The University of Georgia commit has an electric arm with a fastball that consistently sits in the 90's. The lone position player inthe Top 5 is 1B/3B Slate Alford of Bob Jones HS. The Auburn commit can play both corner infield positions and has a very advanced approach at the plate with plenty of pop to all fields. Several 2021 grads recently made a jump in the '21 Alabama player rankings. One of those landed just outside the Top 10 (#11) in LHP Cole Cheatham of Ardmore HS. The southpaw was up to 89 mph at the event and already shows a wipeout breaking ball.
