Chip Bowman RHP / 2B / Lewisville , SC / 2021

5-foot-10, 155-pound proportional & lean frame; RHP/2B. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 80 mph. Started in balanced stance with a smooth load. Displays above average bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ends his swing with a high finish. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 74 mph across the field; hands were raw and his feet were rhythmic. Showed a consistent arm action with a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.65. On the mound, he used a side arm angle and a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. He is a tilt-and-topple type pitcher who uses some effort in his delivery. When he stayed on top of his slider (70-71 mph), his location was consistent; sweeping slider shows some action. His fastball was clocked at 73-74 mph; with a max of 75 mph; tailing fastball shows some accuracy. His 63-64 mph curveball had depth when he located it low in the zone. 


 

 

 

 

 

Justus Jarrard OF / RHP / BHP, SC / 2021

5-foot-10, 158-pound athletic frame with sloped shoulders and room for continued player development; OF/RHP. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 83 mph. Starts in athletic stance, has a smooth load and uses a short stride just before his swing. Bat speed is quick, has an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 80 mph;showed a clean exchange, sure hands and quick feet. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. He is a good runner underway and recorded a time of 7.13 in the 60-yard dash. 


 

 

 

 

 

Tyler Lipscomb SS / 2B / Greenville, SC / 2021

 5-foot-10, 168-pound frame with rounded shoulders moderate projection remaining; SS/2B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in balanced open stance with a small load, then used a short stride just before his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ended his swing with a high finish. Good carry to the pull side with line drive tendencies. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; displayed sure hands, a clean exchange and rhythmic footwork. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.08. 


 

 

 

 

 

Jake Cooke SS / RHP / Dorman, SC / 2021

5-foot-10, 170-pound solid frame, broad shoulders and strong lower half; SS/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 84 mph. Begins in balanced stance with a small load, then uses a leg kick just before his swing. Showed an upward swing plane, as well as above average bat speed and a high finish. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 80 mph; footwork was rhythmic and his hands were soft. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. He displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.95. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed to the plate with a loose arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Has consistent accuracy and plus action on his 1/7 curveball 66-68. He threw his fastball 80-81 mph; and topped out at 82 mph; has accuracy on his sinking fastball. He successfully located his changeup for a strike at 71-72 mph. 


 

 

 

 

 

Alex Phillips OF / OF / Blacksburg , SC / 2021

5-foot-11, 155-pound athletic frame; OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride right before his swing. Has a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ends his swing with a level finish. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 67 mph;showed a clean exchange, soft hands and quick footwork. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with an elite 60 time of 6.3, showed a long powerful gate with easy running form. 


 

 

 

 

 

Conner Sherlock RHP / OF / Fox Creek, SC / 2021

5-foot-11, 160-pound lean frame with square shoulders; RHP/OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 80 mph. Started in wide tall  stance, had a quick load and used a short stride to initiate his swing. Showed a level swing plane and quick bat speed. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.5. On the mound, he used an over-the-top arm angle with a short arm action while showing quick arm speed. He is a tilt-and-topple type pitcher. He sat with his fastball at 71-74 mph; with a max of 75 mph; had some action on his tailing fastball. Threw a sinking curveball 59-61 that had slight action and very consistent accuracy. He showed the ability to throw his changeup (65-68 mph) low in zone. 


 

 

 

 

 

Joel Camp LHP / Gaffney, SC / 2021

6-foot, 195-pound solid frame; LHP. On the mound, he used a long arm action with an over-the-top arm angle while showing quick arm speed. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort in his delivery. Repeated delivery consistently. Has a 11/5 curveball 56-59 that shows very consistent accuracy and some downer action. His fastball came in at 69-70 mph with fade to the arm side. He can keep hitters off balance when he located his changeup (66 mph) low in the zone. 


 

 

 

 

 

Justin Colwell RHP / 1B / Fort Dorchester, SC / 2021

6-foot-2, 156-pound projectable frame; RHP/1B. On the mound, showing above average arm speed he used a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort in his delivery. He produced a fastball that came in at 70-71 mph; with a max of 72 mph;  shows consistent accuracy and plus action on fastball. He can keep hitters off balance when he located his changeup (65-66 mph) low in the zone; throws a tailing changeup that has some action. He threw his curveball with consistency at 64-66 mph.

 

 

 

 

Riley McDonald 3B / RHP / Spartanburg Christian, SC / 2021

5-foot-10, 210-pound solid frame; 3B/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Began in tall stance, had a small load and used a short stride to start his swing. Bat speed is above average, shows a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and a high finish. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph; displayed consistent hands, a natural exchange and rhythmic footwork. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. He recorded a time of 7.8 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, where he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he had a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort in his delivery. Has a sinking curveball 67-68 that shows slight action and consistent accuracy. His changeup (72 mph) was most efficient when pitched in sequence with his fastball; threw a fading changeup. His fastball came in at 77-78 mph. 


 

 

 

 

 

Dylan Howard RHP / 1B / JL Mann, SC / 2021

 6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable frame; RHP/1B. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 92 mph. Began in balanced stance, had a small load and used a toe tap just before his swing. Showed a level swing plane and above average bat speed. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 80 mph across the field; showed a fluid exchange and consistent hands. Had an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.53. On the mound, using a long arm action he showed quick arm speed to the plate from a high ¾ arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. 12/6 curveball 65-66 has some action and consistent accuracy. He produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph. He showed the ability to throw his changeup (70-72 mph) low in zone. 


 

 

 

 

 

Sydney Mullennix OF / RHP / Northwestern, SC / 2021

 6-foot-3, 170-pound projectable frame; OF/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Had a smooth load then a leg kick  Has a flat swing plane and has good extension on his finish. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 78 mph; showed consistent hands and a clean exchange. Showed a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. He performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.81. On the mound, he was clocked sitting at 75-77 mph. His curveball (63 mph) worked best when he spotted up low in the zone. He showed consistency with his off-speed slider at 64-65 mph.
