It has been over six months since our last updated rankings for the 2025 class. Since then we have seen over five-hundred players in the 2025 class, combed over seven-hundred profiles, and with that we have seen plenty of movement in the rankings. Today we will highlight ten players that made considerable jumps in the updated rankings. To see the complete Top 175 rankings CLICK HERE.

Big Risers:
*Listed in alphabetical order*

Julius Bagnerise SS / 2B / Colgan, VA / 2025

Athletic middle infielder with the footspeed and actions to stay in the middle. Left handed hitter that is contact drive and aggressive in approach. Plenty of value with this NOVA infielder.

Lucas Edwards OF / C / Matoaca, VA / 2025

Edwards made a big splash this winter and spring, resulting in a commitment to Radford. While it is a compact frame, there is present strength to it, and loud tools. Arm strength, above average runner, and some sneaky pop at the plate. Shows some twitch in actions and has some power potential still left in the swing.

Nate Hawton-Henley OF / SS / St. John's College, VA / 2025

Extremely twitchy outfielder with the range to play center, the arm to play right, and the offense to play anywhere in the outfield. Bat to ball with advanced bat speed and lean strength that has the potential to add some in game power. His combination of versatility and offensive minded approach makes him an intriguing follow this summer.

Lucas Henn RHP / Pro 5 Academy VA, VA / 2025

Although this video is from the fall, the physical right-hander has since made a jump. Strong, durable frame and add in some pitchability. This upper 80's right hander has some mass to the frame and will have a chance to be one of the biggest arms in this class, long term.

Justin Lee RHP / 1B / Freedom, VA / 2025

Offensive minded sophomore with some raw power to go along with his ability to produce loud contact in game. Has been on barrel countless times in the three or so games we have seen him this spring. The offense carries the weight with his projection and positional fit looks to be more first base, or maybe even some potential corner outfield.

Weston Lillard RHP / Highland , VA / 2025

Electric low slot right hander that was impressive at the Commonwealth Classic. While there is reliever profile here, the velo has a chance to keep making some moves because of the higher end arm speed and intent to which he works. The slider shape has improved and shows average feel for the pitch. Mainly two pitches and generate swings and misses in the zone.

Lukas Miller, Jr OF / RHP / Courtland, VA / 2025

Before this spring there were a few things that stood out with Miller, the physicality, left handed bat, and power potential. We have gotten to see him multiple times this spring and the hit tool has really progressed. Not only does the strength translate into power, but the swing stays in the zone and shows some feel for the barrel with adjustability. Corner outfield profile with raw power and more to come.

Caden Mintz 3B / RHP / Nansemond River, VA / 2025

Left handed hitting infielder with some two way potential on the mound. Aggressive, athletic, and versatile. Sprays it around at the plate, arm strength across on defense, and ceiling left to his game.

Wes Stubbe MIF / First Colonial, VA / 2025

In an offense that can go silent at times, Stubbe is a run producing threat for the Patriots. Does not get cheated at the plate and has the ability to produce loud, hard contact. Solid defender, but probably more 3B/corner outfield long term.

Kaleb Williams SS / 3B / West Springfield , VA / 2025

On a team that does not start many underclassmen, Williams has been front and center for West Springfield for two years. The sophomore shortstop just flat out hits. Slightly above average runner and solid defender, but it is the offense that pushes Williams higher in this class.
