Region 6A Semifinals
#17 Cosby 4, Landstown 3
A game that was scoreless until the bottom of the sixth saw the Titans open up a 4-0 lead and then hang on to win and advance to States. Giovanni Briggs threw 4 innings of shutout ball in the start for the Titans and Matt Weber was outstanding for Landstown, striking out 8 and keeping the Titan offense in check deep into the game. Brooks Simpson went 2-3 for Cosby.
Mancester 6, Ocean Lakes 4
The Lancers tied it up with 2 in the sixth and won it with 2 in the ninth. Dylan Jones and Aiden Harris combined to toss 6 innings of scoreless relief while allowing 4 hits and striking out 12 to shut down the Dolphin offense and allow Manchester to come back. Harris also hit a home run in the game.

Region 6B Semifinals
#2 Colgan 3, #8 Battlefield 0
Connor Knox (George Mason) went the distance, allowing 5 hits while striking out 11. Ryan Kennedy (Virginia Tech) was 2-3 in the win while Kehler Hamilton was 2-3 for Battlefield. 
#3 Freedom (South Riding) 12, Forest Park 8

Region 6C Semifinals
Lake Braddock 7, Alexandria City 6
The Bruins rallied late again and again walked it off, this time with a bases-loaded walk after walking off Saturday's win with a hit-by-pitch. Alexandria had bounced back from an early 4-0 hole to take a 6-5 lead, but wasn't able to hang on. Quincy Via (Marymount) was 3-4 and Dillon Corey and Jamie Laskofski had multi-hit games for Braddock. Reese Crochet (George Washington) was 3-4 with 3 RBI for Alexandria.
West Springfield 12, WT Woodson 8

Region 6D Semifinals
Herndon 10, #23 McLean 8
An absolutely wild game that went into extra innings with the score tied at 5 saw Herndon open a 10-5 lead in the ninth and McLean nearly rally back to extend the game again. Liam Willson (Wake Forest), Matthew Neach (West VA Wesleyan), and Kyle Henson (Patrick Henry CC) had multi-hit games for the Hornets while Avi Fruman and Robbie Coates each had 3-hit games for McLean.
South Lakes 7, #24 Oakton 6
The Seahawks rallied back from an early 4-1 deficit and hung on to win late as Ryan Ertlschweiger (JMU) closed the game out to punch South Lakes' State ticket. Colin Casey (Randolph-Macon) had a multi-hit game and struck out 7 in 4 innings while Robert Reddington was 2-2 with 2 BB and 2 RBI.

Region 5A Championship
Hickory 13, Frank Cox 10
14 runs were scored in the first two innings as both offenses went off. Brandon Walsh and Cooper Newell (JMU) homered for Hickory while Walsh and Zach Megaro each had 3 hits. Joe Munitz, Dylan Blazer, and Michael Barreiro each had 3-hit games for Cox.

#10 Independence 4, Albemarle 1

Junior Kyle Johnson (Duke) threw a shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Region 4B Semifinals
#1 Hanover 13, Chancellor 0
3 pitchers combined on a 2-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts. Brett Alvis (Mt. St. Mary's) was 2-2 with 4 RBI and a BB and Cannon Peebles (NC State) had a 2B and 2 BBs.
Monacan 14, Mechanicsville 8
The Chiefs had an 8-3 lead in the sixth and Mechanicsville roared back to cut the deficit to 8-7, but a six-run top of the seventh gave Monacan the victory and a State Tourney trip. Jalen Greenidge (Lincoln Univ PA) had a home run while Turner Johnson and Sean McCord had 3 RBI each. Aaron Maxie was 4-4 for the Mustangs and CJ Dinapoli (William & Mary) hit a home run.

Region 4C Semifinals
James Wood 7, Tuscarora 0
Nick Bell tossed a 4-hit shutout with 8 strikeouts and Bodie Pullen (Shepherd) was 3-4 for the Colonels.
#22 Millbrook 5, Heritage (Leesburg) 0
Jerrod Jenkins (Dallas Baptist) struck out 10 in a 3-hit shutout while the Pioneers took advantage of defensive miscues by the Pride to build their lead. 

Region 3A 
New Kent 10, Hopewell 0
Thomas Wilson threw 4 innings of 2-hit shutout ball in the win while Joe Buchman was 3-3 with 2 2Bs, a BB, and 4 RBI.
Colonial Heights 5, York 2
The Colonials rode a 5-run second to victory. Alex Chini went the distance, allowing just 5 hits and striking out 8. Brent Haden, Will Climburke, and Gray Ellenburg all had 2 hits in the win.
Southampton 7, Lakeland 6
Lafayette 4, Tabb 3
Luke Hanson (Virginia) struck out 11 in 5 innings and held the Tigers to just 2 hits as they built a lead and hung on to win. 

Region 3B Semifinals
William Monroe 4, Caroline 0
Lance Williams struck out 9 in 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball while also going 3-3 with a BB and an RBI.
Meridian 5, Brentsville District 1
Brentsville led early, but the Mustangs were able to pull it out, scoring all of their runs late in the game. Thomas Downs was 2-3 with 2 RBI and a BB and Jackson Pierce went 5 innings strong.

Region 2A Semifinals
Poquoson 11, Amelia County 1
Wyatt Helsel struck out 9 in a 5-inning 1-hit complete game. Eli Tyndall and Josh Markley (Dickinson) had multi-hit games in the win.
Randolph-Henry 9, Nandua 7
Nandua rallied from down 7-2 in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game but R-H responded with 2 runs in the top of the seventh to punch their State Tournament ticket. Ben Gibbs, Jaden Gee, and Jaylon Gordon each had multi-hit games in the win. Brandon Adamos and Aidan McIntyre homered for Nandua.

Region 2D Semifinals
John Battle 12, Virginia 2
Elijah Childress was 3-5 and Porter Gobble tossed 4 strong innings while going 2-4 with 2 RBIs and a BB.
Gate City 8, Central Wise 7
Trevor Herron and Brendan Cassidy had 2 hits each in the game while Carter Babb had a 2B and 3 BBs. Ashton Bolling was 3-3 with a BB for Central.

Region 1A Semifinals
Rappahannock 2, Essex 1
Wyatt Bunch outdueled Gavin Stone as Bunch struck out 9 and allowed just 4 hits and Stone also allowed just 4 hits, but gave up a second run in as a tough-luck loser. Slade Keyser was 2-3 in the win.
Lancaster 10, Middlesex 2

Region 1B Semifinals
Rappahannock County 6, Surry County 2
Buffalo Gap 8, Riverheads 5
Micah Canterbury hit a grand slam and Kody Bright went 3-5 in the win. 

Region 1D
Lebanon 11, Rye Cove 0
Chance Parker was 3-3 and Nick Belcher hit a home run in the win.
Eastside 13, Grundy 3
A 12-run top of the first powered Eastside to the semifinals. Jaxsyn Collins was 4-5 with a 3B.
Chilhowie 8, Honaker 1
Daniel Hutton threw a complete game 5-hitter and hit a home run in the win. Brandon Bush was 2-4 with an RBI and Levi Teaters was 1-1 with 2 BBs and 2 RBI.
Rural Retreat 5, JI Burton 4
Noah Bandrimer picked up the win with 5.1 good innings of relief. Justin Gilman and Garrett Holston had multi-hit games in the win. Caleb McCurdy was 3-3 with a home run and 3 RBI for Burton.
