Twice a week during the season, we will post scoreboards. Our focus will be to make sure we get up every score from teams in the Power 25 or in consideration for the Power 25. We will also post scores that are easily accessible via GameChanger or MaxPreps.

Thursday, April 21

#1 Hanover 6, Miller School 5
Anthony Gabello (JMU) and Cannon Peebles (NC State) homered while Seth Keller (Old Dominion) and Brett Alvis () had multi-hit games. Will Townsend was 2-3 for Miller.

Alex Cho won the game in the ninth with a walk-off single. Griffin Burkholder (West Virginia) was 2-4 with a 2B. Mason Butash (Penn State) threw 3 hitless innings and Ryan Marohn (NC State) struck out the last 9 batters in order in 3 perfect innings of relief for Freedom. Ethan Owen allowed just 2 hits in 4.1 innings with 6 strikeouts as the starter for Battlefield.

#8 Independence 7, Stone Bridge 3
Chad Yates tossed 6 strong for the win while also going 2-3 with a 3B and HR. Tyler Fetterman and Michael Koerner had multi-hit games as well for the Tigers. Cooper Scott was 3-3 and Alex Perrin (Elizabethtown) and Kyle Carpe had multi-hit games for the Bulldogs.
#11 Nansemond River 8, Great Bridge 4
Jordan Crosland (Maryland) had 2 doubles and Grayson Fitzwater (VMI), Clay Grady (Virginia Tech), Aden Judge, and Quenton Gaddist all had multi-hit games in the win. Norman Jackson was 3-4 with a 2B and HR for Great Bridge.

#14 Abingdon 4, Bluefield (WV) 1

#15 Greenbrier Christian 15, Norfolk Collegiate 12
Bubba Sawyer (Virginia) was 4-4 with a BB and Gavin Whitehurst (Wilson Memorial) was 2-3 with an RBI in the win.
#19 James Madison 8, #17 Westfield 5
The Warhawks opened up an 8-0 lead and hung onto win. Connor Moore threw 4 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts. Bo Kuhblank was 2-3 with an RBI and a BB and Jason Cassidy had 3 RBI. Sam Marco had a home run and 3 RBI in the loss.
#23 South Lakes 12, Centreville 0
Colin Casey (Randolph-Macon) struck out 10 in 4 innings of 1-hit ball. Jaime Quinn-Irons went 3-4 and Jake Stiehl went 3-3 with 5 RBI and 2 2B.
#25 Spotswood 8, Wilson Memorial 3
Dawson Russell and Trevor Shifflett were 2-3 and Luke Keister had a 3B while Noah Burtner struck out 7 in 5 IP to pick up the win. Kyle Wingfield was 2-3 with an RBI in the loss.
