Alex Bardo, RHP, Corning Painted Post HS, NY (2018)
Stands at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, a big-bodied righty.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.  His fast ball was (74-76 MPH).  Throws a sweeping slider that works now with 10/4 shape and changeup had a little late downward action.  In the game, he got hitters to hit groundballs and he seems very composed and comfortable.  With work in the off-season it is very possible that he will easily bump his fastball consistently into the 80’s. 

Russell (RJ) Brandon, MIF, Canisius HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-9, 132 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  He ran a 4.61 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft hands, throws with a high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball, with some range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was 68 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, short stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 76 MPH. 

Tony Burlingame, OF/RHP, Horseheads HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-9, 145 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.21 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  The future is bright for this player as long as his work ethic reflects his talents.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a clean loose action, 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was at 70 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed, athletic, and very balanced, short stride, with a smooth load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball. Has the build and a blood line that will show great things as long as he works hard.  His exit velocity was 80 MPH. 

Will Carlone, 1B/RHP, St. Joseph Collegiate Inst., NY (2019) He has an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.40 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  At first base looked good receiving throws from the position players, nice footwork fielding through the ball, throws were on target, with a high 3/4 arm slot throwing motion.  His arm strength was at 78 MPH.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.   During the game, he showed a lot of composure and confidence.  He really display confidence in all his pitches, getting hitters to chase and fooling other hitter making them think.  At the plate setup is closed stance, no stride, with a back load.  Quick hands straight to the ball on a level plane, with a high finish, with good extension and balance finished.  His exit velocity was 85 MPH

Leugim Castillo, OF/MIF, Lancaster HS, NY (2017) Stands at 6-foot-2, 207 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.01 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  In the outfield, he has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a clean loose action, arm is very strong with lots of carry, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  In the infield, he has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a clean loose action, arm is very strong across the diamond, plays through the ball nicely, with lots of range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was 81 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, short stride, with a smooth load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball, with an athletic balance throughout the whole swing.  His exit velocity was 97 MPH.

Nathan Hampson, LHP/1B, Victor HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, with an average build.  He ran a 5.02 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.  He has a good drive from balanced position, seems to be finishing over his front side more.  His fastball was (73-74 MPH).  Curveball (63-64 MPH) had a 12 to 6 downward action and changeup (61-63 MPH) had a little late fade.  During the game, he used all his pitches to attack hitters down in the zone.  His pitches seemed to show arm-side run.  At first base looked good fielding through the ball and receiving throws from the position players, throws with an over the top arm slot.  His arm strength was at 70 MPH.  At the plate his setup is open stance, long leg kick stride, with a dropping of hands load.  His hands are very compact and aggressive, swinging with some uphill tilt, with a high finish with extension through the ball.  He displays the potential for more power as year’s progress.  His exit velocity was 81 MPH. 

Zach Harter, 1B/3B, Gates Chili HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.32 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  At first base looked good receiving throws from the position players, nice footwork fielding through the ball, throws were on target, with a high 3/4 arm slot throwing motion.  His arm strength was 70 MPH.  At the plate he is a switch hitter with pop from both sides.  His setup is relaxed and very balanced, short to no stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 83 MPH.  He is a player who shows potential to progress to the next level in college.

Troy Hattala, C, Orchard Park HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.55 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  His arm was very accurate to second base.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times improved and were consistently at 1.93 down to second base.  His arm strength was at 70 MPH.  At the plate setup is relaxed and balanced, short stride, with a back load.  He has a very short path to the ball, level plane, with a mid-section finish, with extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 79 MPH.  He is a catcher who shows some potential to progress to the next level in college.

Blake Hildman, C, Victor HS, NY (2017) Stands at 6-foot-1, 172 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.94 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he throws with a clean loose action.  He receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball and keeps it in front of him.  His pop times were consistently at 2.11 down to second base.  His arm strength was 70 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, short stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 78 MPH.  He is a player who shows potential to progress to the next level in college.

Erik Johnson, LHP/1B, McQuaid HS, NY (2018) Stands at 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  On the mound, he uses a quick delivery, arm works loose and clean, throws from a high-3/4 slot.  His fastball was low 70’s his max was 74.  Curveball (57-58 MPH) had a 2 to 7 downward action.  On his finish he recoils after release, he needs to focus on a smoother, full finish over his front side.  During the game, he displayed nice composure and control.  He was able to locate his pitches well, curveball had hitter’s off-balance and got groundballs/pop ups. 

Jake Johnson, MIF, Canisius HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-10, 145 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.59 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a low to high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely, with some of range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was 73 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, mid-range leg kick stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball, with a nice high finish.  His exit velocity was 75 MPH

Brandon Kelley, RHP/3B, Horseheads HS, NY (2018) Stands at 6-foot-0, 188 pounds, with an athletic body build.  On the mound, he starts with his hands mid-level, and used a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with a more over the top arm slot.  He uses a good counter rotation, with a high leg lift to a slight drop and drive technique.  He has a long, clean arm action that projects velocity in the future.   His fastball was (77 MPH).  Curveball (61-64 MPH) with nice downward action.  During the game, he used his pitches really well getting hitters to miss and hit groundballs.  

Morgan Kunigan, MIF/RHP, Hilton HS, NY (2018) Stands at 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.70 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  He has a good approach through the ball, with smooth, soft hands, throws with a low to high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball, with some of range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was 74 MPH.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with a more over the top arm slot.  In the game, he seems to have good composure, used his pitches well, and was able to get groundballs.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, mid-range leg kick stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball, with a nice high finish.  His exit velocity was 73 MPH.

Nico Limoncelli, MIF, Horseheads HS, NY (2017) Stands 6-foot-0, 160 pounds with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.20 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  In the infield, he has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a high ¾ arm slot, arm is very strong across the diamond, plays through the ball nicely, with lots of range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was at 85 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, back knee lift and stride, with a back load.  He really drives his hands and hips to the baseball, swinging on a level plane through the zone using some extension after contact and a shoulder height finish.  His exit velocity was 86 MPH.

Great size for his age, with continued work Manion could develop very well on the baseball diamond.

Andrew Thompson, C, Horseheads HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-10, 155 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.57 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he throws with a clean loose action.  He receives the ball with smooth, soft, quick hands and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball nicely, keeps everything in front of him, and moves quickly to the ball.  His pop times were consistently at 2.10 down to second base.  His arm strength was at 72 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced, short stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with movement towards the ball through the swing, extension through the ball, and has a shoulder high finish.  His exit velocity was 83 MPH. 

Brandon Underhill, MIF/RHP, St. Michael Catholic HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  He ran a 4.56 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft hands, throws with an over the top arm action, plays through the ball nicely, displays some of range, and has accuracy on the target across the diamond.  His arm strength was 77 MPH.  On the mound, during the game he seems very composed and comfortable.  He uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.  His fast ball was (77-78 MPH).  Curveball had a 12 to 6 downward action and changeup had a little late downward action.  In the game, he got hitters to hit groundballs.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, short double tap stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging with a little uphill tilt but straight to the ball, and has shoulder high finish with good extension through the ball.   His exit velocity was 74 MPH. 

Parker Ziemann, C, Lancaster HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-6, 145 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 5.01 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he receives the ball with nicely and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times were consistently at 2.34 down to second base.  His arm strength was 63 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced, short stride, with a hand drop load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane to the ball, and has shoulder high finish with extension through the ball.   His exit velocity was 73 MPH. 

Jake Zurat, C, Williamsville-North HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-9, 190 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.46 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  His arm was very accurate to second base.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times improved and were consistently at 2.00 down to second base.  His arm strength was 74 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced, short stride, with a back load.  His hands seemed quicker to the ball, swinging with some uphill tilt, with a mid-section to shoulder high finish through the ball, displays good extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 85 MPH.
