""No. 1 Rock Bridge (20-1) hammered No. 12 Warsaw (14-2) on Saturday afternoon, dropping the Wildcats, 12-2. Already leading 7-2, the Bruins blew the game open by scoring five runs in the top of the seventh.

 
RHP John Miles (right), Prep Baseball Report's No. 12 player in the Class of 2011, had another stellar outing for Rock Bridge. The senior improved to 5-0 this season after allowing two runs on five hits while fanning nine. He has 45 strikeouts in 30 innings and sports a 0.30 ERA.
 
Miles also had a nice day at the plate, helping his cause with a two-run home run, his first of the season. RHP/3B Travis Bittle continued to be an RBI-machine, going 4-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI.
 
RHP/SS Ryan Phillips, the No. 2 player in the Class of 2012, was 2-for-4 with two RBI, Ryan Schmidt was 2-for-4, and C Wilson Pfieffer was 2-for-4 with a double and pair of RBI.
 
Rock Bridge?s No. 1 state ranking will be challenged this week, as they visit No. 15 Helias on Monday, Jefferson City on Tuesday, and No. 8 CBC on Wednesday. The Bruins biggest test will be on Thursday, however, when they host No. 2 Francis Howell in what should be one of the best games this season.

Vianney (15-7) beat Francis Howell Central (15-5), 10-5.
 
No. 2 Francis Howell (21-2) beat Hickman, 10-0, and narrowly beat Howell North, 2-1.
 
No. 18 John Burroughs (12-2) lost to Clayton, 9-4
 
No. 21 Fort Zumwalt North (12-6) was upset by Fort Zumwalt East, 10-5
 
No. 22 Westminster (14-3) destroyed Priory, 12-0.
