After batting .353 in 37-at-bats as a freshman at Arkansas in 2018, Washington took his talents to Wabash in 2021 and produced a .412/.511/.692 slash with 46 stolen bases. Strong, lean and athletic at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, he throws above average from the outfield and is also a plus defender. He's expected to start in the OF and hit towards the top of the lineup for the Boilers this spring.

9/22/20

Strong, lean and athletic, the Arkansas transfer ran a 6.82 sixty then showed average to above arm strength from the outfield where he looks to be a plus defender. Hit with good rhythm and some length with average bat speed from both sides of the plate. Showed more power right-handed than left. He also has proven in-game performance with a .300+ average at Arkansas as a freshman in 2019. Above all else, he seemed to have strong makeup and leadership qualities.

Uncommitted, (6-Foot-3), 164-pound frame, athletic body with length to levers, ran a 6.9, offensively, simple approach, line drive swing, over rotate with upper half at times, length to the front with levers will produce power with strength, 74 MPH exit velo, defensively, outfield, athletic movements, clean funnel to midline, carry to throw, 84 MPH arm strength, Infield,:athletic actions, clean feet, average range, clean funnel, short release, carry to release, position velo 79 mph.
