10/20/18 - South Carolina commit. Proven over and over again that he has one of the best pure bats in the class. He has a short, direct stroke and constantly finds the barrell and can drive the ball to all fields. On Day 1, he drew a walk in his first at-bat, smoked a single back up the middle in his second and went to the opposite field for another. In his final at-bat, he hammered a triple to deep left-center field.
10/12/18 - South Carolina commit. 6-foot, 205-pound left-handed hitting infielder and catcher, continues to make big impacts at big time events. He appears to have really leaned out the body and lost some of the perceived baby fat in throughout. He really looks the part now with strength throughout the frame, but especially noticeable in the shoulders and lower half. Offensively, he arguably had the best weekend of anyone in attendance. He showed above average pull power in BP while staying simple and compact with a swing and approach that will play for many levels to come. He recorded four hits in two games and was seemingly always on time and on the barrel or just missing a pitch. He creates natural loft and overall has an advanced hit/power combo. Defensively, he has always been solid at third and could definitely stick there at the next level, but interestingly enough he jumped behind the plate and you could nearly see and hear wheels turning in the packed crown of scouts. There is athleticism and doesn’t look uncomfortable back there. If he continues to work behind the plate and show that he would have the ability to stick there, he could see his already rising stock soar to the near top of the class.
05/20/17 - South Carolina recruit. The young infielder has leaned out and continues to get stronger. Defensively, he shows plenty of arm for the left side with soft hands and quality footwork. Has a chance to be above average third baseman. Offensively, the left handed hitter doesn't get cheated. He is aggressive to the ball, and has strong hands with a feel for the barrel. He showed present pull power, but really shined in the game where he consistently squared the ball up
7/21/16- Committed to the University of South Carolina.
9/26/15- Lean, athletic, strong, and projectable frame. Open stance at the plate with low hands. Gets a separation for his load and has a flat swing plane. Short, quick stroke and possesses very good bat speed. Division 1 prospect.
