03/07/17- Committed to Santa Fe College.
8/27/16- 6-foot, 190-pounder has a stocky frame and good lower half. He did have some effort in his delivery, but showed a quick arm. Was able to throw all pitches for strikes and really spotted the fastball at the knees. His fastball sat around 80-82 mph and curveball was 69-71 mph. Punched out three hitters during his outing. More in the tank if he can get some better extension and get over his land leg.
2/26/16- Uncommitted junior who stands at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds with a thicker, strong body with loose actions. Clean delivery with a loose, high ¾ arm action. He can sometime open up early which causes him to miss away, but he mostly stays in line and fills up the zone at 83-86 mph. Very good curveball that breaks more than the length of the plate and breaks late at 71-74 mph curveball. He should add some more velocity as he matures.
1/16/16 - Stocky strong body with a loose quick arm Fastball was 83-84 mph. Curveball was 68-69 mph. Changeup was 68-69 mph with good arm speed.
8/5/15 - 5-foot-11, 175 pound right hander with a thick strong body. Loose arm at a ¾ to low ¾ arm slot. Turns the fast ball over and gets tail action at 80-83 mph. Curve ball is a sweeping slurve that he drops his arm slot to throw it at 71-73 mph. Change up is 71-73 mph. Turns it over to get some sink and fade, and also drops arm slot o throw it. Throws a lot of strikes. Knows how to pitch. Works quick. Aggressive approach. Changes speeds well and keeps hitters off balance.
