5/7/15 - 5-foot-11, 172-pound right-handed hitting RHP/3B impressed with quick, athletic arm action on the mound, and with approach at the plate. Currently uncommitted, ranked No. 160 in Illinois. Hits from slightly open setup, short stride, utilizes legs well, short, slightly uphill bat path, natural lift to swing, two-run homer to deep left off a hanging 67 mph curveball in first at bat. Struck out on a slider down in second at bat, and flew out to center in third at bat. Shows off arm strength on the mound, fastball sat 84-87 mph in the first inning, then settled into the 80-83 mph range from the second through the sixth. Also flashed a 67-73 mph curveball and a 73 mph changeup. DiFranco is one of the top uncommitted third baseman in Illinois.

2/16/14 5-foot-11, 165-pound two-way player. On the mound his delivery has smooth rhythm and regular effort. His arm works from a high ¾ slot with a short, loose action. Straight fastball was 81-82 mph consistently for strikes. Curveball was 69-70 mph with loose action and 10/4 shape. Throws his changeup with fastball arm speed at 74-76 mph with slight arm side run. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance, smooth load and balance through contact. Lower half is explosive. Bat path is short and level. Exit velocity was 79 mph off a tee. On the infield arm works from a high ¾ slot with short, loose action at 82 mph. Showed solid defensive actions.

7.17.13 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound middle-infielder showed some solid ability on both sides of the ball. His feet work well and he makes clean exchanges – his arm plays at 81 mph with accuracy (one of the top infield velocities of the event). Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load flashing bat speed. DiFranco ran a 7.34 60 at the event. 

2/18/13 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound middle infielder. Defensively shows athleticism, fields the baseball athletically left of center, footwork shows fluidity, 4.33 runner home to first. Arm shows some accuracy across the diamond, 77 mph. Offensively, hits from an open stance, slightly longer stride. Lower half works, solid balance throughout. Bat speed present, short bat path, 80 mph exit velocity from the tee. Young middle infielder with some projection.
