Uncommitted. Strong, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, athletic frame, batted fourth and got the start at first base. Moerman was batting .667 in the playoffs with five RBIs before picking up four more hits and driving in the game winning run in the 10th inning for the Porters in this sectional semi-final matchup. Simple stance in the box with a slight bend in the knees, uses a short stride to start the swing. Moerman showed strength in the bat with a double to the left-center gap in his first at-bat of the game. Over at first base, Moerman is a sure-handed first baseman who can pick the baseball and has clean, athletic feet around the bag.

Uncommitted. Moerman went 4-for-11 (.364) with a home run, two RBIs, and four hit-by-pitches. In Lockports loss to Lyons, Moerman went 2-for-4 at the plate. Against Joliet West, Moerman went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs, and a run scored.

Week 1: Moerman went 3-for-5 (.600) with a home run, two doubles, six RBIs, and three runs scored, earning a mention within our Week 1 Diamond Notes. 

Week 6: Moerman was mentioned within out Week 6 Diamond Notes after going 4-for-9 (.444) with a home run, six RBIs, five runs scored and two stolen bases.

Uncommitted. Listed at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. Hit out of the four-hole for the Porters and finished the day 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored. The left-handed hitter showed some rhythm at the plate, utilizing a fluid load in which he hangs his foot, before dropping the head with a flat path and quick hands. Showed power to his pull-side with a home run and there should be more power to come as he continues to fill out. Steady defender at first base with reliable hands and accurate footwork.

Uncommitted. Moerman went 4-for-9 (.444) on the week with a home run, six RBIs, five runs scored and two stolen bases. In their win against Lincoln-Way East, Moerman hit a two-strike, two-out, three-run home run to help propel them to the comeback win.
