Moerman is another sophomore to monitor this spring for the Porters after having a big game vs. Alton, going 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored out of the two-hole. Standing in at an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with some present strength throughout, the right-handed hitter was on the barrel numerous times hitting at the top of the order for the Porters. He also displayed clean and comfortable actions on defense in left field.
