3/31/16 Game Notes: The 6-foot-1, 205 pound right-hander pitched all five innings in No.5 Zionsville's 11-0 victory over No. 16 Westfield. The Florida Atlantic recruit was up to 93 twice in the first inning, sitting 88-91 in the third and fourth innings.  In the fifth he settled in at 86-89. The curveball was 73-75, while the slider, which got several swing and misses, sat 76-79.  His change up was consistently 81-83.  Prather scattered five hits, walking two and striking out eight.

5/28/15 GAME NOTES:
The uncommitted 6-foot-1, 205 pound Junior sat 88-91 in the first inning of work last night.  Throughout the rest of the game he was more 87-89.  His breaking ball seemed to morph into two pitches, throwing more of a true curveball early in counts, while more of a slurve when he had two strikes on hitters. Early in the count the breaking ball was more 72-73, and late with two strikes was 75-76.  The changeup was 78-79.

4/1/15 GAME NOTES:
The 6-foot-1, 205 pound uncommitted right-hander was 88-91 last night, popping a 92 in one inning pitched.  Allowed 0 hits while striking out 1.

2/21/15:
PITCHING- A 6-foot-1, 205 pound righty pitches from a high 3/4 slot with quick arm speed.  Arm is loose with overall smooth rhythm, does get long on his backside.  Fastball showed run at 86-89, topping out at 90. Breaking ball was more of a spinner at 66-68, but erratic in the zone.  Best off-speed pitch was his 76-78 changeup that showed good sink and consistently kept in the zone.

6-foot-1, 205 pounder possesses a strong frame with wide shoulders.  Showcased sure hands at 1B and moves well around the bag.  Possesses a strong, accurate arm across the diamond at 90 mph.  Ran a 7.59-60.  Offensively, hits from an athletic, open setup.  Smooth load back with good balance throughout the swing.  Slight leg kick, stride is short and possesses above average bat speed.  Level path, gets to extension.  Consistently barreled up the baseball.  At times this off his front foot.  Recorded a high exit velo of 88 mph.

2/22/14:
6-foot, 215 pound sophomore pitches from a high 3/4 slot with average arm speed. Shows some rhythm in the delivery, lands closed.  Drop and drive delivery.  Fastball topped out at 82 mph and thrown for a strike. Breaking ball was 64-65.  Changeup sat 71-75 with some sink action and thrown at fastball arm speed. Across the diamond was 81 mph.  Showcased average hands and feet.  At the plate starts open and dives during the stride. Lacks separation and rhythm.  Barrels up the baseball.
