Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-foot-4, 190-pound long and projectable frame with more room for added strength to the frame in the future.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance and upright posture. Hands get set well below shoulder height with a vertical bat angle and weight preloaded into the back leg. Two tap stride with hands working in rhythm with the lower half. Long levered swing with a rotational bat path. Top hand strong finish with weight pushing back at contact from a soft front leg.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity off the tee and 88 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. OF-72 MPH. High ¾ arm slot with a long arm action and short release.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with short and choppy footwork. Fields the ball with two hand inside the glove side leg with a firm glove. Uses a step behind crow hop technique with good momentum headed towards the target.
Run: 7.43 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-foot-4, 190-pound long and projectable frame with room for even more added strength and size.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance with hands set very low and arm-barred back. Very short leg kick with bouncing hand rhythm. Scissor-type weight transfer in swing with back leg sliding behind him. Routes to the ball and bat speed are both in development. Long levered swing with some strength at contact.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RHH. OF-81 mph. High ¾ arm slot with very long arm action on the back.
Defense: In the outfield shows shorter controlled steps when attacking the ball. Fields the ball out in front of the body on the glove side leg. Utilizes a back knee driven crow hop technique. Glove action is still a developing tool.
Run: 4.29 runner from home to first.
Delivery: Up tempo delivery with quick mid-height balance point. Hand break is out away from chest and early. Glove side works down the third base side and pulls arm across to create good angles. Landing foot comes down slightly to the third base side. Repeats the delivery well.
Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot working across the body.
FB: 83-84 mph, good arm side run and sinking action.
SL: 73-75 mph, very short 9/3 shape with cutting action.
CH: 74-75 mph, arm side fade with good hand speed and command.
Long, projectable 6-foot-4, 187-pound frame. The right-handed hitter sets up in a slightly crouched stance with his weight shifted to his backside and a low handset. Uses quick hand load down and toe-tap into an uphill swing through the zone. Creates an arm-bar in load and had base-hit contact to his pull side during BP. Registered an 86 mph bat-exit velocity. In the outfield, displays developing hands and footwork, slowing down his momentum to field cleanly. Made 78 mph throws from a long high-¾ arm stroke.

1/26/19 - Fincher is a 6-foot-1 157-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2022 class. He ran a 4.90 home to first and had a 77 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in tall stance, hands walk away from stride, in line stride, level path, middle of the field approach.
