Maria has a strong, athletic build at 6-feet 185-pounds. One of the top overall performers from the whole event. Potential two-way player at the next level. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.50-seconds, recorded an exit velocity that topped at 90 MPH. At the plate, starts in a neutral stance and a bend to his knees with hands above back shoulder. Uses a small foot lift and stride to start swing. Hands loaded fluidly down and back with rhythm. Short, compact and explosive swing through the zone. Peppered the gaps in batting practice and launched a few over the fence. Balanced finish. Defensively, took reps from the outfield. Throws topped at 85 MPH from a high-3/4 slot. Long, clean, and quick arm action. Throws had back spin and were on target. On the mound, Fastball topped at 87 MPH
