Future Games (August 2-5, 2017)
Solid 6-foot-2 205 pound outfielder who moves very well for his size (6.82/60). Offensively- Hits from an even setup; slight take up with a 15 degree barrel angle. Gains ground with a small leg kick; stays behind the ball with and explose lower half. Line drives with occasional lift. Long term power potential is there. Recorded an exit velocity of
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)

Sturdily-built 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed batter, ran a 7.04/60. Offensively - evident load out of a nearly upright stance, keeps bat on a level path through the strike zone with extension and upper cut after contact for an exit velocity of 94 MPH, repeatable motion, comfortable driving middle third, tends to pull side, scary to think what could with lower body engagement. Defensively - confident and poised, gathers self well behind ball, efficient transfer, accurate arm from the outfield at 81 MPH. Pitching - hides ball well, clean arm action, uses height to get downward plane on fastball at 80-82 MPH, effectively changes eye levels, there is more in the tank,  keeps batter off balance with curveball at 67-68 MPH, consistently induces weak contact.
NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2016)
Carlone is already a mature 6-foot-3, 195-pound physical specimen At PBR NY’s New York All-Star Games, Carlone took an easy round of batting practice where balls were jumping off his bat to the pull side .Offensively- Starting from a tall stance with his hands close to his ear, he rocks his weight and hands back with a minor leg lift. Carlone’s hands fire through the zone allowing for free use of his strength to punish baseballs. Exit velocity peaked at 94 MPH. Defensively- Although an adequate first baseman, the athletic Carlone may be better suited for a shift to the outfield as he is already running a 6.79 60-yard sprint.  Arm strength from 1B to 3B was at 78 MPH, would carry over to a more then adequate arm from the OF if needed.
April 2016
Carlone has a lean athletic frame, tall and strong that should continue to fill out over his HS career.  Though facing one of the best pitching staff's in the state in Orchard Park he showed upside at the plate, including a big leadoff single in the bottom of the 13th in which he came around later to score the winning run.
Preseason All-State (Feb. 28, 2016)
Carlone continues to add size to his athletic frame standing 6-foot-2, 190-pounds. At the plate the 2019 graduate uses a shoulder width apart stance, weight slightly shifted back with his hands even with his head. Slight back load on the pitch, small leg lift stride. Bat-path to ball is short, hands power through the zone (85 mph exit velo) with a consistent barrel path, full extension through contact.  Defensively - works from the corner with a strong presence and feel. Fields the ball from a low-base, average hands with a strong accurate arm. Pitching - Carlone oozes projection with opposing size from the mound. Quick paced delivery, hands stay high following his knee path. Firm back side with a short-back arm action. Drives down the power-line over his front side, throws from a high 3/4-slot. Fastball sat 76-78 topping 79 with some downhill depth. Curveball shows above average spin, 11/5 tight shape 64-66 mph. A lot to be excited about from the western NY 2019 graduate.
WNY All-Star Games (August 27, 2015)
Carlone has an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.40 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  At first base looked good receiving throws from the position players, nice footwork fielding through the ball, throws were on target, with a high 3/4 arm slot throwing motion.  His arm strength was at 78 MPH.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.   During the game, he showed a lot of composure and confidence.  He really display confidence in all his pitches, getting hitters to chase and fooling other hitter making them think.  At the plate setup is closed stance, no stride, with a back load.  Quick hands straight to the ball on a level plane, with a high finish, with good extension and balance finished.  His exit velocity was 85 MPH.

New York Games  (July 7-9, 2015)
Pitching-  RHP Carlone works with a balanced delivery, high leg kick, hands high. Arm action is straight back and quick, throws from a high-3/4 power slot, long stride with good push from his back side. Head stays on target, fastball sits 75-77 mph, shows some natural arm-side run. Curveball shows hand-speed with late depth. Finishes with a violent recoil. Velocity projection. 1B/Hitting- Has an athletic body build.  At first base looked good fielding through the ball and throwing the ball across the diamond to third base.  At the plate setup is closed stance, no stride, with a back load.  Quick hand straight to the ball on a level plane, with a mid-section finish, with good extension and balance finished.
