Ben Bury: 3B/RHP, (2025) Sylvania Northview, OH. 5-foot-11, 160-pound projectable athletic build. (67.8 mph bat speed average). (22.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide strong stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Has efficient bat speed, loose swing plane and high finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Confident in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 66 mph; showed in control feet, a natural exchange, and raw consistent hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a longer arm action with a high ¾ slot. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.95. Fluid on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a longer loose arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with an even in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 1382; Avg 1256).
