Cameron Collins: C/2B, (2023) Hilliard Bradley High School, OH. 5-foot-10, 195-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. (65.4 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a quiet athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, had a loose level swing plane and high finish. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 78 mph; had consistent footwork, a clean transfer, and sure hands. displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.99-2.09. Some flexibility and quiet setup. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.37.
Cameron Collins: 3B/C, (2023) Hilliard Bradley, OH. 5-foot-10, 175-pound athletic frame. In the box, Collins had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Began in an open stance with a quick controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was average, and had a flat swing plane. Laterally, his movements were average. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 73 mph during throw downs; has sure hands, a clean exchange, and smooth consistent feet. He produced a pop time of 2.15-2.25. Wide setup with average flexibility. Clocked a time of 7.6 in the 60-yard dash.
