Luke Armbruster: 3B/OF, (2024) Elmwood, OH. 6-foot, 185-pound sturdy athletic build. (68.2 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a pre-loaded stance with a small quick load, then used a small leg kick. Had a short level swing plane, quick efficient bat speed and balanced finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 71 mph; showed a fluid exchange, consistent hands, and choppy in control feet. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. From uninterrupted slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a short arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.02. Capable on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a short arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands closed with balanced finish. (Max spin 1840; Avg 1779).
