5/30/18

Not a flashy player but brings an above average skill set to both sides of the ball. Also stood out for his motor and effort on the field. At the plate he starts in a crouched setup from the right side. Swing is compact with a much louder combination of strength and bat speed than exit velocity would indicate. Has some minor things to clean up but ball really comes off well when he squares up the baseball. In the infield he his mechanically sound with a reliable glove. Made all the plays in defensive eval and ball skills showed up in game. Solid ball player.

11/18/17

Ran a 4.7 from home to first. A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a short stride for timing while taking hands back to launch. Swing is compact and his well above average natural tools show regularly. Ball jumps off his bat to both sides. Tends to get around the baseball at times. Saw him most true ball flight when he stayed inside the ball. Much more pop than his 73 mph exit velocity would indicate.
