Defense: Attacks the ball with shorter footwork and feel for routes working around the ball. Shows strong lateral range with clean transfers out of the glove. Fields the ball out in front of the body with a feel for glove action and soft hands. Registered 71 mph from across the diamond.
Run: 4.76 runner home to first.
Body: 5-8, 170-pounds. Proportional build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with a slightly open stance and upright posture. Hands get set quietly into position at shoulder height with a relaxed back elbow and flat barrel angle. Slow loads the weight into the inside of the back knee. Simple stride to a slightly closed position. Lower half works rotationally around the back leg into a slightly bent front leg. Does a good job of getting the barrel into the zone early and matching the plane with the pitch. Works the lower half underneath the ball effectively. Strong rotational acceleration around the core. Slight uphill bat path with short lean back in posture at contact. Maintains balance well throughout the swing.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 77.6 mph. 241’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 68 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with lateral routes and shorter strides. Fields the ball slightly deep into the body with soft hands and developing glove action. Fields the ball well on the move and shows good lateral range especially to the glove side.
Run: 8.42 runner in the 60.
Cooper Zeiders: 3B/RHP, (2025) Choctaw, OK. 5-foot-5, 137-pound slim frame. In the box, Zeiders had a max exit velocity of 64 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a small load, then used a short stride before his swing. Bat speed was average, showed rotational swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls throughout his round. Up the middle approach. Average while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 59 mph; showed firm hands, a lengthy exchange and developing feet. Had a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. Clocked a 60 time of 9.08 at the event. Fluid on the mound, where he showed some arm speed, he had a compact arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays even shoulders and strong balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 61-64 mph and topped out at 64 mph; showed consistent control with straight movement. His curveball (52-59) has some action. changeup (56-56) showed in the zone accuracy.
