A 6-foot, 175-pound lean and athletic frame. Works from a simple and controlled delivery, moderate leg-kick, and balanced finish. Full arm circle, some stiffness, high 3/4 slot. Fastball keeps is plane, 81-84 mph, above average command. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with rolling action, for strikes. Changeup flashes excellent fade, 76-77 mph. Cutter is thrown with full arm speed, true, late action, 80-81 mph. Slider sits 70-72 mph, 11/5 shape.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound lean framed right-hander works from a deliberate windup until foot-strike. Fastball keeps its plane at 81-84 mph with some deception coming from behind his head. Blom posses multiple breaking balls, but seems to favor the slider which has 11/5 shape when down in the zone 70-72 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape 67-68 mph. Cutter flashes some late action 80-81 mph.

Committing to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College after the Preseason All-State Showcase, Blom stands a lean 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame with room to add size and strength. Works from a slow and controlled delivery until foot strike. Arm action is quick, fluid, and clean with moderate length in the back before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball shows arm side run at 86-88 mph, mostly strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with sharp and late depth, 75-77 mph, mostly strikes. Overall, Blom will have a chance to play a major role for NEO right away.
