Strong frame at 5-foot-8, 195-pounds, good catchers body with room to fine-tune his mobility side to side. Defensively showed soft hands and quick transfer leading to his 2.03 pop time. Was around the bag with his throws and a velocity best of 71 mph. Offensively, starts hands low and rocks back to load, hands raise and then come back to contact. Worked up the middle and tried to stay inside ball, exit velocity was 82 mph.

Small frame with some athleticism and strength at 5-foot-7, 165-pounds. Room to add some physicality. Ran a 4.37 from home to first and a 5.40 in the 40-yard sprint showing average speed for a catcher. Defensively, best  pop-time was 2.00 while he worked with a quick and transfer and got rid of the ball. Arm showed some life and worked from a high-3/4 arm slot with a velocity of 72 mph. Footwork was online and showed some agility in his lower half. Tendency to get tall early on throws. Received well, can relax wrists and elbows to soften up glove hand. Offensively, takes a short approach to the ball with swing. Starts in a balanced position with a small pickup with front foot using a minimal stride. Hands are back and tendency to drop with load. More in the tank as a few minor adjustments with bat angle and lower half involvement can create more bat speed for Grabstas. His exit velocity was 80 mph.
