Utilized a deep lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher, initiating the swing through a flat path towards a lifted two-handed finish. Plenty of line drive/fly ball contact at the front of the plate, working up to a T79 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Notched a 70% sweet spot rate.
Defensively: The backstop sits low in the crouch, alternating left knee down and traditional setups. Pop times ranged from 2.34-2.42 with a useful trigger and short H ¾ release (63 mph arm). Semi stiff receive, but the actions played.
