Athletic and strong build at 6-foot-2 and 190-pounds. Varying hand movements enable him to hide the ball well through his delivery. Stock has a high leg kick with a slight pause at the top of his delivery before generating strong downhill drive through his back leg. Upper body is slightly closed at the top of his delivery and has downhill shoulders at foot strike. He has easy, repeatable mechanics and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. From the stretch, he begins on the first base side of the mound with his feet parallel to the plate. Stock’s fastball touched 80 MPH and sat 78-79 MPH. His FB was consistently located to the bottom of the zone. Curveball showed big 12-6 shape at 66-68 MPH.
