Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 165lb frame with two-way capabilities. 6.81 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Slightly open, balanced stance with the hands operating loosely by the head to start. Utilized a controlled leg lift in order to initiate the bat head through an accurate, flat path into the hitting zone. Clean barrel actions and able to adjust to pitches thrown in any quadrant of the plate. Showed off a quick trigger, matching pitch-plane early with connection in the swing. Produced a near 30% line drive rate using a middle of the field approach, and stayed inside the baseball on his initial entrance into the slot. Worked up to a T87 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman with room for more as he continues adding strength.
Defensively: The shortstop demonstrated a bouncy, quick first step using a low/moderate posture during defensive evaluations. Fielded cleanly off the middle of his body with smooth exchanges at waist-height, releasing with pace across the diamond from H ¾ (81 mph arm). Natural shortstop movements that should allow for left side projection down the line; good handle on the run.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with moderate pace, holding consistency down the slope. Balanced mechanics and repeated well, driving into footstrike and releasing at H ¾ slot. The FB ranged from 78-80 mph with big-time arm-side run and ability to fill up the zone. Mixed a gradual 68-70 mph CB thrown at near FB arm-SPD with deception out in front; two-plane shape with near similar depth/sweep creating issues.
Physical: 5-foot-8, 140 pounds; proportional, athletic frame. 7 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. open, narrow stance with 45 degree bat angle; hands straight back with an even stride. average effort, stays behind the ball well with direct path with quick bat . Middle to pull side approach; peak Trackman exit velocity of 82 MPH. Defensively: Low to the ground, walks into ready position; active approach, smooth fluid footwork and movements. Soft hands with clean transfer; low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 72 MPH. Pitching: Center rubber, closed stride and effortless, repeatable delivery. Clean arm action with standard 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 76MPH, 73-75 MPH. FB has well above average arm side run. CB: 61-63 MPH. CB has 11-5 rotation with good vertical & horizontal break and tight spin. CH: 63-66 MPH.CH has good fading action.
5-foot-8, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a narrow, square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Created regular back spin with balance throughout and showed a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and capable defensive actions with accurate 71 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 73-77 off the mound with some hip swivel to his delivery and some arm-side run to his fastball. Curveball had slurve action at 63-66. Pulls changeup across the body leading to command issues at 70-73.
