A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Moves barrel to launch during his leg kick load. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. Path is level with well above average strength and bat speed through the zone. Ball jumped off his bat, showing gap to gap pop and power potential to his pull side. Took a ball out to left field in batting practice. Talented bat to follow. In the outfield, he approaches the ball fluently with some urgency. Fields the ball in the middle of his body with a quick transition into his throw. Releases the ball from a 3/4 arm slot with above average arm strength.

6/20/17 5-foot-9, 165-pound right handed hitter, Weinberg posted the best overall measurable set of any prospect in attendance. Athleticism was evident with sixty time of 6.87, bat exit velocity of 90 mph and OF positional velocity of 85 mph.  Swing is initiated with knee to knee leg kick and short stride.  There is some hip sway with non aggressive turn creating an uphill swing path. Weinberg was able to make swing play in BP barreling multiple balls and showing gap to gap power.
Defensively, Solid footwork and weight shift are noted on throws. Weinberg would benefit from being more decisive on reads.
6/15/16 5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitter displayed the ability to use all fields from a square stance and a leg-lift stride with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Went 2-for-7 with a double in game action and showed above average foot speed (6.81 60-yard dash). Showcased solid athletic actions defensively with good routes to the baseball and 82 mph arm strength.
