Physical: Big-bodied, connected 6-foot-2, 188lb frame. 7.32 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, pre-set stance that uses coil in the upper-half to stay back. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone with good extension. Direct approach working back up the middle and lifted to the deepest part of the yard. Recorded T93 mph bat-exit velocity and showed feel for the barrel with leverage at the front of the plate.
Defensively: The backstop featured adequate feel in the crouch; alternated stances from traditional to left knee down. Pop times ranged between 2.08-2.18 and got the back foot in the ground before release; 74 mph arm from H ¾ slot on the bag. Body could slide him out to 1B.
