Physical: 5-11, 145 pounds; Wiry, lean build. 8.2 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 70 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Minimal leg lift with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 76-78 MPH; arm side run. CB: 63-64 MPH; lands for strikes. CH: 69 MPH; maintains same plain.
Physical: Long, lanky 5-foot-11, 145-pound build with RTF. 4.26 runner in the 30YD.
Offensively: LHH. Simple, repeatable setup from a taller posture. Utilized a knee-knock stride to initiate his swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone towards a whippy finish. Worked up to a T82MPH EV and recorded more ground balls than fly balls; raw pull-side approach.
Defensively: The first baseman showed adequate feel around the bag. Chopped the feet out of a wide setup, soft glove-hand funneled inwards. Delivered an accurate 76MPH throwing arm (H ¾).
Pitching: LHP. Slower pace off the center of the rubber; up/down/out leg-lift with a medium takeaway. FB sat 74-76MPH, arm-side run, mixing a lateral 59-62MPH CB and upper-60’s CH.
