Physical: 5-10, 165 pounds; Slender, Lean build. 6.75 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Extended take back of the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a finish around the back. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
6/12/22
Physical: Much improved, athletic 5-foot-7, 145lb frame with RTF. 6.72 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open, wider stance, as the hands calmly move in rhythm. Utilized a short lift and replace stride, back to even, to initiate the swing through a lifted, repeatable path for a repeated fly ball approach during his round. Barrel whip at times, T88 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Able to handle pitches out over the plate accurately.
Defensively: The outfielder flashed above-average pace into the touch. A simple funnel transferred to his throwing hand and delivered a 75 mph arm from position, H ¾ slot. Strength is still coming in waves on both sides.
