Physical: Projectable, even proportioned 6-foot, 177lber with feel in all phases. 7.42 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, mostly upright stance as the hands showed at the shoulder to start; utilized a diving lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher accompanied by smooth weight shift into a stiff front side; entered the hitting zone through a flat path, showing off a short/connected swing and a mostly pull-side approach during batting practice. Stayed inside the pitch on the inner half with ability to lift on a multitude of quadrants across the plate. Notched an impressive 50% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball and an 85 mph bat-exit velocity.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder displayed a short hop in the prep step, getting the feet active and downhill on the approach; fielded with confidence out in front at the fielding window funneling inward/on-time with a clean exchange at the stomach. Rangy defender that handled plays easily to the glove hand side and produced a quick, accurate ¾ slot on the release (83 mph arm).
Physical: Large and projectable 6-foot, 165-pound frame with ability to continue adding strength as he matures. 7.41 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance with a slight bend in the knees as the upper half is slightly coiled around the back right knee. Utilized a barrel tip at the shoulder coupled with a leg-kick stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone with lift after contact. Showcased an efficient stroke with plenty of fluidity and whip towards impact, featured a 20.50 mph max hand speed per Blast Motion which checks in at above average. Was able to pepper the pull-side with hard contact while demonstrating control and feel throughout the swing, could go the other way with pitches out over the plate when thrown there, and had no trouble working the hands through to extension. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 84 mph according to Trackman Baseball with a peak batted ball distance of 275 feet.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured solid footwork arriving to the spot on time with a moderately low center of gravity on the approach. Fielded the ball off of the left side of his body with intent and quickness at the fielding window, feel for pace on the left side of the infield, arm played accurately from a high ¾ slot that dropped down to ¾ on occasion. INF - 78 mph
5-foot-10, 148-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased a gap-to-gap approach with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. Displayed capable defensive actions with developing 75 mph arm strength across the diamond.
