Physical: 5-11, 190 pounds; Full, Sturdy build. 7.25 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side while funneling to the hip before transfer. Long arm swing from a high/over the top arm slot. OF - 87 MPH.
6/12/22
Physical: Powerful, high-waisted frame at 5-foot-11, 180lbs. 7.26 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, wider stance, as the hands showed consistent rhythm pre-pitch. Utilized a controlled leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a quick, fluid path into the hitting zone towards a two handed finish. Upright posture at times, but hand-speed/bat-speed was standout at the event, posting a T85 mph exit velocity during his BP round. Room to get more into the lower half, 283 foot distance to the pull-side.
Defensively: The outfielder shuffled when reading the ball off the barrel, attacking off his left side with a soft glove hand. Funneled through a clean exchange, direct arm-stroke towards the plate up to 85 mph positionally. Corner OF projection.
