6/30/15 Physical maturation has led to improvements in all areas for the 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Jacobelli starts from square with a high hands load and a leg lift stride. Stays on plane through hitting zone and creates barrel whip with solid lower half action (90 mph bat exit velocity). Showed ample arm strength (81 mph) to stay on left side of infield, but will need to continue to work on footwork and fluidity.

6/18/14 Jacobelli is a 5-foot-7, 155-pound right-handed hitter has a weight shift approach to hitting that allows him to produce an 86 mph bat exit velocity, but at times he is late in getting to the hitting zone. His hands work well and he has the ability to barrel the baseball consistently when in rhythm. The junior displayed the ability to make plays on the move in the infield with a 79 mph arm across the diamond. Jacobelli ran a 7.09 60-yard dash and displayed capable actions as an outfielder as well.
2/15/14 Jacobelli impressed with an 83 mph bat exit velocity and very good foot speed (3.95 home-to-1B). The right-handed hitter utilized a high hands load from a square stance to barrel the baseball routinely during batting practice. Jacobelli showed a quick release and an accurate 78 mph arm across the diamond. The 5-foot-7, 155-pound sophomore has an athletic frame and the skills to play on the left side of the infield if his frame continues to fill out.
11/16/13 Jacobelli is a 5-foot-7, 155-pound middle infielder that showed soft hands and the ability to play the baseball on the move with a 73 mph arm across the diamond. The right-handed hitter barreled the baseball frequently during his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Jacobelli uses a high hands load and a big weight shift to develop barrel whip. When he is in rhythm the ball jumps off his bat.
