09.24.17 - 2019 RHP Kadon Morton (Seguin HS) is the highest ranked uncommitted player, at No. 12, in the Texas 2019 Class, and the junior was dominant on Sunday. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-hander is a high end, all-around athlete with a lean-muscular frame. Morton has a loose, easy arm swing, working from a high-¾ slot. Clean, athletic delivery with good hip turn down the mound, lands closed. His fastball sat 89-90 mph, but the pitch has a second gear and it’s easy to dream that there is more velocity to come in the future. Complementing his fastball is a sharp curveball at 75-77 mph with 11/5 shape, tight rotation and good bite.

06.26.17 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound, athletic frame. The right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a loose, quick arm stroke and an athletic, up-tempo delivery. His fastball was 85-88 mph in the bullpen. His slider has good 10-4 shape at 74-75 mph. His changeup is a plus pitch at 79-81 mph.

6-foot-1, 170-pound, athletic frame. All around athlete with good speed. Shows ability to barrel balls up. Also pitches in mid-to-upper 80's with good 12-6 curveball. Plays football.
