Havard has a strong, sturdy, barrel chested frame at 5-foot-11, 220-pounds. The right-handed hitter starts from a tall, open stance before he loads up by cocking the bat forward, turning inward as he uses a short leg kick to stride forward. Lands square with his hands in a strong position over his back shoulder with good separation.
