Athletic frame standing 5-foot-10, 160-pounds. Hits from the right side with a square athletic stance, small pick up and put down landing square, and hands load back in rhythm. Short and quick to the ball, uphill tilt to the swing, and worked gap to gap during his rounds. Exit velocity was 74 mph. Fluid approach in the outfield, glove moved freely, and a clean centered exchange. Full arm circle and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 76 mph. Ran a 7.16 60. On the mound Skrine worked exclusively out of the stretch. Easy low effort delivery. Waist high leg lift, engages backside just as he starts moving down the mound, high front side, and hips are slightly elevated. Lands on line at foot strike and finishes over front side towards the plate. Average arm circle and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 74-77 and topped at 78 mph. It worked to both sides of the plate and had some downhill action at times. Breaking ball flashed some tight late 11/5 action at 68-69 mph. Changeup was 71-73 with average feel.

Projectable athletic frame standing 5-foot-10, 160-pounds. Skrine hits from the right side with a slightly wider athletic base and a small pick up and stride landing slightly open. Hands have some rhythm in the load, barrel gets on plane early, and a slightly uphill path with some strength and quickness through the zone. Swing worked gap to gap with some line drive tendency and an exit velocity of 79 mph. Active feet on approach, worked through the ball well, and showed solid glove presentation to catch. Full arm circle, three-quarter arm slot, and throws were low and on line at 81 mph from the outfield.

Skrine is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open athletic stance, strides on line, load back to a wrap, hips rotate completely with some violence, good balance to swing. Very short to ball with some batspeed, slightly uphill path, primarily pull approach, showed ability to use whole field, line drive swing with some strength at contact, exit velocity was 79. In the outfield, charges ball and fields with average hands, clean exchange, lower three quarters arm slot, position velocity was 75. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action that is quick with normal effort. Shoulders on line and level, lands on line with an athletic finish and slight recoil. Fastball was 72-75, touch 76, with some sink and some run. Splitter was 68-70 with good armspeed and late downer bite. Change-up was 65-67 with some armspeed and some fade.
