LoRusso throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with normal effort. Shorter athletic frame, he creates some downward plane on his fastball and the pitch has some run to it. Fastball was 82-86, touching 87 early in the game. He held his velocity well, still sitting 82-84 and touching 86 in the fifth inning. Didn’t give up much velocity in the stretch either, working at 83-84. Change-up had heavy fading action and he threw it with some armspeed, sitting at 75-77. Curveball was 68-71 with gradual 11/5 break. Struggled to find a tight strike zone early, but once he did, attacked it consistently and worked ahead of hitters. Has feel for pitching and is aggressive in the strike zone.
