Klement stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the 7th, drove in the first run with a shot through the left side of the infield. His only hit of the night turned out to be the biggest, as he put his team ahead for good. Klement sets up in am open stance, leg lift stride, and an uphill bat path.
6-foot-2, 190-pound infielder, solid build. Right-handed hitter, open stance, lifted stride to even, hands drop into load. Path plays slightly uphill, flashed bat strength, 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short and firm, ¾ slot, 71 mph across the diamond. Corner infield profile, showed reliable hands while on the move. 7.79 runner in the 60.
