Tranquill is one of the top athletic outfielders in the 2014 class.  Currently ranked No. 10 in Indiana’s 2014 class, the 6-foot-2, 190 pound Tranquill is physically strong and possesses the ability to run extremely well (6.76 sixty).  In the outfield he demonstrates a plus arm at 89 mph.  At the plate he shows quick and powerful hands producing good pop. 

Tranquill was a member of this year’s Team Indiana at the Mid-West Futures games in early August.    At the event he garnered a lot of attention from the college scouts when he turned on an 88 mph fastball for a triple displaying his ability to drive the ball and run the bases.
