As we prepare for our 2014 high school preseason coverage, we are going to take a quick glance at teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK:

The Delta Eagles and Head Coach Terry Summers are looking to build off of last year's Sectional Championship this spring.  Delta finished the 2013 season 17-12 and were 5-9 in conference play. They ended last year's campaign with a loss to eventual 3A State champion Norwell in the opening round of Regionals.  Returning for the Eagles in 2014 is senior RHP/1B Rob Fox.  The Taylor University commit finished last spring with a 1.69 ERA on the mound and also had impressive numbers at the plate hitting .340 with 25 RBI.  Another senior right-handed arm returns for the Eagles in Tavis Rattray.  Rattray is a 6-foot, 175 pound righty that pitched 26 innings and finished with a 2.96 ERA last season.  2015 Tate Stone hit .309 as a sophomore and finished with 14 RBI while swiping five bags in 2013.  Coach Summers is also expecting contributions from junior's Cade Jones (SS) and Trey Bland (OF/LHP) along with senior OF Jared Tomlin.
