TOP UNDERCLASSMEN
Matt Reynolds, 2017, C Matt is a switch hitting catcher that could play his way into the lineup this year and make a huge impact. He is a very smart catcher that works very hard behind the plate and works with his pitchers very well. (Profile and Video on PBR site)
Colton Hartig, 2017, SS Colton is a shortstop that has worked very hard this offseason and has showed significiant range in the middle. He was the leader of the JV team as a freshman and could land into an everyday role this year pending play of all around him.
Notable Losses
Joey Dawn, P, All District, University of Northwest Ohio
According to the Coach
The experience we return at the varsity level is invaluable. At any time last year we would start 7-8 juniors and 1 sophomore and they grew as a team. We lost one pitcher from the rotation and have a strong group of guys returning. We also have a group of young guys that could play on a regular basis. Sophomore Colton Hartig has been looking very good in the middle infield and sophomore Matt Reynolds has looked strong behind the plate. They are a group of competitors that absolutely hate to lose and are working hard to avenge our struggles of last year. It should be an exciting year!
