As the calendar turns to December, I want to review the top prospects from the 2017. These players have separated themselves as top prospect, with the potential at some point in their career to become professional prospects, if they are not already.

Top Prospects 2017 Pitching
McAllister, really made a jump in 2017, worked through the spring with Coach Ron Bradley and staff, as the Wildcats made their way to the state championship before falling to Cabot in the finals.
He really started gaining traction on the recruiting aspect, this summer playing for Perfect Timing. Mcallister displayed a feel for the strike zone with three pitches consistently. He had success against some of the best competition in the mid-south.
Right now McAllister is uncommitted and is one the top uncommitted prospects in the state. He is a large framed athlete with a quick arm and a feel to pitch. He projects to throw harder and should turn himself into a solid NCAA Division I pitcher.

McAllister is 6-foot-3 170-pound right-hander with an athletic frame and build. He pitches from a H ¾ arm slot with a fast arm speed. He uses a simple tall and fall delivery which is repeated consistently. He commands the strike zone with his fastball 84-86 mph and flashes up to 87 mph. He throws a curveball and changeup as his secondary pitches. The curveball has 11/5 action with gradual break thrown 71-74 mph.
