Outlook
The Cobras are looking to build off a 12-9 2017 campaign while two key pieces to the team will return after impressive freshmen campaigns. 2020's Julio Sanchez, and Nathan Reed both bring some two way potential for the Cobras. Sanchez was a major player for Harford Tech his freshmen season, leading the team in innings pitched while posting solid number with a 2.14 ERA and .317 batting average. Sanchez was also second on the team in RBI with 16. Reed saw action on the mound with a 3.19 ERA and while making five starts and hitting .357 in only 14 at-bats. Reed should take the No. 2 spot in the rotation behind Sanchez this spring, while either Wes Atteberry or Dylan Preacher will take the No. 3 role. Offensively look for returning Parker Norcross to take a big leap this season after an impressive season last year hitting .435 in 16 games. Sanchez will play a big role again with Adam Flenner, Brennan Schneider and Travis Bouthet playing a bigger role potentially in the lineup. Preacher should build off his last season and add another strong bat in the lineup. A lot of this season success looks like it can depend on the development and progression of Sanchez and Reed on the mound for the Cobras. If they continue to get better, you could see an even better season from the Cobras and  maybe even challenge the UCBAC.
