By: Zac Bottoms
Arkansas Scouting Director

As we move forward we come the No. 2 slot and Jakobi Jackson, a dual player from Watson Chapel High School. As a freshmen he was the catalyst of an offense that swung their way to the 5A semi-finals. On the mound he was one of many talented young arms the Wildcats relied on. Jackson had a coming out party against cross town rivals, White Hall as he recorded two hits including a double off the wall. The significance of this is he was facing 15th round selection of the Cleveland Indians RHP Daniel Sprinkle with 10 MLB scouts in the stands. He had another big game in the state tournament with a multi-hit game including an opposite field home run. Below is our scouting report on Jackson.
